iPad Primer with Video Tutorials
The learning module outlined on this page is from the iPad Primer, which students download to their iPads from Apple's iBookstore. Embedded in the modules are show-me movies that illustrate the tutorials and make them interactive.
Chapter 23: Projecting the iPad
After completing this chapter, you will be able to:
- Understand that projecting the first version of the iPad was troublesome because its projection required special coding supported only by some of the apps.
- See how Apple solved this problem in the second generation of the iPad by creating a feature called mirroring that enables you to project the iPad 2 regardless of what app is running.
- Recognize the four versions Apple makes of the mirroring cable, namely, Composite, VGA, Component (RGB), and Digital AV (HDMI).
- Know when to use these four cables and follow links whereby you can obtain them.
- Project the iPad wirelessly to an HDTV via Apple TV.
