iPad Primer with Video Tutorials
The learning module outlined on this page is from the iPad Primer, which students download to their iPads from Apple's iBookstore. Embedded in the modules are show-me movies that illustrate the tutorials and make them interactive.
Chapter 2: Taking Photos with the Camera
After completing this chapter, you will be able to:
- Take photos with either the front-facing or high-definition camera on the back of the iPad.
- Understand the importance of the Camera Roll as the storage center from which you can bring into one app an image that you created or captured in another app.
- Change the focus and exposure of the high-definition camera on the back of the iPad.
- Minimize your use of digital zoom by moving closer to the subject you are shooting, if it is practical and safe to do so.
- Use the iPad screen as a giant viewfinder when recording full-motion video.
- Trim video by deleting unwanted portions from the beginning or end of the recording.
