ePortfolio Examples
Collected here are some ePortfolios completed by graduates of the University of Delaware's Educational Technology Master's program.
- Jessica Schroeder. Organizes her portfolio navigation around her Ed Tech Master’s Degree performances. On each performance page, Jessica explains how it helped her meet specific AECT and ISTE standards. Note that the assessment framework requires that candidates align either with AECT or with ISTE; Jessica chose to align with both.
- Christin Bishop. Introduces her portfolio with a Summative Introduction under which Christin lists the AECT standards and explains how her performances contributed to her attainment under each standard. Navigational arrows guide the user through the portfolio.
- Jacqueline Whitney. Organizes her portfolio around the seven Ed Tech Master’s performances. Uses the new Google Sites button-maker to create intuitive navigation through the site. Creates a separate page called National Standards Capstone upon which Jacqueline explains how her performances align with the various ISTE standards.
- Lynn-Marie McIlvain. Begins her portfolio with a detailed table of contents. Uses the new Google Sites button-maker to create intuitive navigation through the site. On every page Lynn-Marie provides an option of returning to the table of contents to make another choice. Notice how Lynn-Marie makes the text of the buttons clearly explain where they will go when chosen.
- Michelle Bernardino. Begins her portfolio with a personal statement followed by buttons to her résumé, performances, or ISTE standards statements. Michelle does an excellent job of providing intuitive navigation throughout her portfolio. The standards pages are particularly detailed in regard to how Michelle met each one of the ISTE standards. Notice how each standards page explains the parts of Michelle’s performances that align with each ISTE standard.
- Allison Pawlowski. Begins her portfolio with a bold look consisting of a striped menu of the EDTC master’s degree performances. Each subsequent page links to the performance and explains how it aligns with the AECT standards. Throughout, Allison provides intuitive hypertext guidance at the bottom of each page.
- Joyce Muller. Begins her portfolio with the Summative Introduction that is one of the required elements in the Ed Tech Master’s Performance-based Assessment Framework. Provides intuitive navigation throughout the portfolio via hypertext guidance and buttons clearly marked as to where they go when chosen. Provides multiple pathways through explanations of how Joyce’s performances align with the AECT standards.
- Amanda Matarese. Opens her portfolio with a simple dark-red and white theme that carries through the site. Amanda provides home page links to her summative introduction, performances, AECT standards, and the EDTC master’s program itself. Every page has an awareness of its purpose and provides links to other places that the user would likely want to go next. The standards pages explain how Amanda’s various performances align with the AECT standards.
- Rebecca Boyer-Andersen. Begins her portfolio with a graphical menu of her seven master’s degree performances and the coursework in which Rebecca created them. A detailed summative introduction is followed by a reflection on Rebecca’s journey through the program. Green navigation buttons guide the user from the bottom of each page.
