Departmental Safety Committees are charged with providing emergency response training to their departments. Many choose to provide this training by conducting periodic fire drills. Emergency training may take other forms; contact the Department of Environmental Health & Safety for additional information. Departmental Safety Committees should assure that emergency evacuation postings are available and current.
