Aerial Lifts

Aerial lifts have replaced ladders and scaffolds in many application because of their mobility and provide a better and safer means to access elevated areas than ladders. However, improper use of aerial lifts can have serious and life-threatening consequences such as falls, electrocution, toppling over, contact with (crushing against) objects, among others. If there are any questions about aerial lifts at the University of Delaware, please contact the Environmental Health and Safety Department at dehsafety@udel.edu or call 302-831-8475.
