Campus Tent and Inflatable Permit Procedures
Users seeking approval to utilize tents or inflatables on campus need to complete a UD Tent Permit Application Form OR a UD Inflatable Permit Application Form at least two-weeks prior to the event in order to allow for coordination with the City of Newark Building Department on main campus, and the State Fire Marshal’s for other campus sites. EHS/Fire Staff will require a site plan, floor plan, proof of flame retardant tent/inflatable material and other information found on the application form. Building Department and Fire Marshal Permit applications and associated fees are the requester’s responsibility after obtaining UD EHS approval.
