How to connect a Windows Mobile

Windows Mobile 6.0

  1. Open the ActiveSync application on the device.
  2. Press the Menu button.
  3. Press Add Server Resource.
  4. In the Server Address field, type webmail.admin.udel.edu
  5. Check the box in front of This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection.
  6. Press Next.
  7. Type your Exchange username, password, and domain name (admin.udel.edu).
  8. Press Next.
  9. Select the items you want to synchronize wirelessly.
  10. Press Finish.

Windows Mobile 5.0

  1. On the Home screen, choose Start.
  2. Press ActiveSync.
  3. Press Menu.
  4. Select the Configure Server tab.
  5. If the mobile device has not yet been synchronized with the Exchange server, Add Server Source will be the available option.
  6. In Server address, type webmail.admin.udel.edu
  7. Press Next.
  8. Type your username, password, and domain name (admin.udel.edu).
  9. Press Next.
  10. If you want the mobile device to save your password so that you will not need to enter it the next time you connect, click the Save password checkbox.
  11. Click the checkboxes for the types of information you want to synchronize with the Exchange server.
  12. To change the available synchronization settings, select the type of information that you want to synchronize, press Menu, then press Settings.
  13. To change the rules for resolving synchronization conflicts, press Menu, then press Advanced.
  14. Press Finish.
