Configuring a Theme

After you save your theme selections, the list of themes will reload, and you'll see a new option called configure under the Operations column.

  1. Click configure.
  2. You can configure settings for a specific theme and some global settings that will work across your site, regardless of the theme selected.
  3. Click Global settings. On this page, you can specify the following:
  • the path to a custom Nice Menus CSS file,
  • elements displayed on certain types of nodes (i.e., pages, stories, blogs, etc.),
  • whether or not an author's name and date of posting are displayed, and
  • the logo and shortcut icon used across the site.

  1. Click Save configuration at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click the name of the theme you specified for your site. On this page, you can specify settings for only this theme, including the following:
  • the logo and shortcut icon settings for this theme, and
  • the elements displayed on certain types of nodes (i.e., pages, stories, blogs, etc.).

  1. Click Save configuration at the bottom of the page.
