IT Pros Quarterly Meeting - Office 365 for Education
On October 26, Central IT hosted a meeting of nearly 80 departmental IT professionals to discuss the upcoming introduction of OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Multi-Factor Authorization (MFA), and the transition from Exchange to Exchange Online. These changes will enhance security and add concurrent file sharing, Microsoft Web Apps, Teams, and other features to our existing Microsoft Office for Education online offerings, including SharePoint and Skype for Business.
Tech Fair 2017
On November 15, nearly 350 faculty and staff attended UD’s "Tech Fair 2017: Discover. Learn. Share." The annual event provided an opportunity for faculty and staff to familiarize themselves with the technology services offered by UD IT and other University units whose staff were available for questions, short discussions, and hands-on demonstrations of technology tools.
