The PrintLess Program

Save Paper: PrintLess

Additional Information

How other Institutions and Organizations Reduce Paper Usage

Use Duplex Printers

Duplex printers can print on two sides of a sheet of paper—which translates into a 50% savings in the amount of paper used. And that's less for you to carry around and less to turn in to your instructors. To reduce waste, most public computing sites now have a duplex printer. You are encouraged to use the duplex printers whenever possible.

Note
Printing in the site from certain computers will default to the two-sided printer. To change printing from two-sided, you need to select Print from the File menu within the application you are using, and then choose the printer that is defined as "single-sided."

Remember, you can check the status of your print job at the print release station.

If you have any questions about duplex printing or how to use the print release station, please ask a site assistant.
