Commitment to Delawareans
The goal of the UD Commitment to Delawareans is to prepare Delaware high school students for admission to the University of Delaware. It includes academic, financial and rolling admissions components. The UD Commitment to Delawareans is an academic roadmap that shows you the courses you must complete and the level of performance you must achieve in them if you want to be confident of gaining admission onto the Newark campus of the University of Delaware.
Foreign Students & Scholars
The Office of Foreign Students and Scholars conducts orientation sessions for all new foreign students and scholars and is available to answer questions and assist with concerns in an effort to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The Web site includes a list of important phone numbers and other resources about living at the University, in the town of Newark and in the United States.
Fraternity & Sorority Life
Fraternity and Sorority Life strives to ensure that University of Delaware fraternities and sororities are an integral part of campus life, and that all members fulfill the basic principals of leadership, scholarship, philanthropy and friendship. Membership in a fraternity or sorority is designed to complement the formal educational experience at the University of Delaware.

There also are nondenominational religious organizations, social and musical groups, and community service opportunities, all with a religious or spiritual focus.
