PreMBA

The PreMBA program continues to adapt to the changing business environment and to changing MBA admissions.

In October 2001, PreMBA students, accompanied by instructor James Slater, attended the MBA Forum in New York City. There participants gathered information and spoke with MBA admissions representatives from 100 schools in the Boston-Washington corridor.

"Feedback from MBA admissions directors and PreMBA alumni confirm the business media reports that the influx of dotcom refugees into competitive MBA programs has allowed top MBA programs to become even more selective," said Slater.

"On the other hand, many very good accredited programs have adopted a more flexible approach to international MBA candidates."

Graduates from ELI's PreMBA program in 2001-2002 continued to enter highly competitive programs such as Georgia Tech, the Arthur D. Little School of Management in Boston and the University of Houston, in addition to the strong programs in the region, such as Drexel University, George Washington University and the University of Delaware.
