The Society of Winterthur Fellows (SOWF) is a non-profit organization composed of alumni of Winterthur's academic programs. Its purpose is to draw together these alumni in support of each other and in support of Winterthur's ongoing academic programs and their continued excellence. The Society accomplishes this through several means. Its primary mission is to mentor current Fellows and to supplement the academic programs through Society-sponsored seminars and activities. The Society also addresses the needs of alumni through a variety of programs and membership benefits, including a biannual newsletter, an annual meeting, and a network of regional liaisons. All graduates of the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture and the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation are eligible for membership in the Society of Winterthur Fellows.
