Elizabeth C. Wendelin is an independent paper conservator in Horsham, Pennsylvania. She completed her Master of Science degree in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware-Winterthur Art Conservation Program in 1984, and was named a Fellow of the American Insititute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works (AIC) in 1996. As a highly skilled practitioner, Elizabeth has conducted numerous conservation treatments for works of art on paper and archival documents, including objects made of parchment, for private individuals and museums. She has assisted non-profit insitutions with collection surveys as part of state and national grant award programs. Her publications in AIC journals on various treatment topics have enhanced the body of knowledge within the profession. Elizabeth has given lectures and workshops on paper conservation, which have contributed to public awareness and appreciation of this unique aspect of art preservation.
