Beth A. Twiss-Garrity is Vice-President of Interpretation at the National Constitution Center on Independence Mall, Philadelphia, managing its exhibits and programs. She began work for the new museum in late 2000 after thirteen years as a curator of education at Winterthur. At Winterthur, she worked on the creation of The Galleries, specializing in school programs, changing exhibits, and visitor research. Prior to that job, she was Director of the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion, a Victorian house museum and garden, and prior to her tenure as a WPEAC Fellow, she was a National Park Service ranger. Among her various professional associations, she is co-chair of the Committee on Audience Research and Evaluation of the American Association of Museums and is one of AAM's peer reviewers for the Public Dimension of Museums. |
