So, it's your senior year! A year filled with future planning and celebration! While it may seem overwhelming, it can be a great year as long as you look ahead and plan. Here's a checklist to help you stay organized:

Since there isn't an official senior check-out in the CHEP College (ETE majors complete a senior check-out interview during the junior year), have you met with your advisor to make sure that you're on track for graduation? Remember, just because you have completed your course requirements doesn't necessarily mean you have completed your minimum credit requirements for graduation and vice versa.

Have you checked to make sure that all of your transfer credits from other institutions have been posted to UDSIS?

Have you checked UDSIS to make sure your graduation term and address are accurate in the system? You won't receive important information about graduation if these are not correct. Winter Commencement information is mailed in late October; Spring information in early April.

Have you declared a minor? If so, it is your responsibility to make sure that you have completed all minor requirements. If you have made special arrangements with your minor department/advisor to substitute requirements, you must provide documentation of this to the CHEP OSSS, or you will not be cleared to graduate.

Have you asked faculty for letters of recommendation in the semester before you intend to graduate? It is one less thing you need to worry about during your last semester.

Have you visited the Bank of America Career Services Center at 401 Academy Street? They have a wonderful career library and an incredibly informative web site.

Have you written a resume and had a Bank of America Career Services counselor look it over?

Have you registered for the Campus Interview Program at the Bank of America Career Services Center?

Have you looked into the Bank of America Career Services Center workshops on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and job search techniques?

Have you returned any borrowed library books and paid any overdue fines?

Have you paid any parking tickets you may owe to Public Safety? They are located at 413 Academy Street right next to the Perkins Student Center.

Is your bill in good standing? Billing and Collections is located in the Student Services Building on Lovett Ave.

Have you ordered your cap and gown at the Bookstore? Make sure your tassel color is correct when you pick your order up. ETE and EDS tassels are blue; all other CHEP majors are maroon.

Have you made hotel and dinner reservations for graduation weekend? Rooms have been known to fill a year in advance.
