The cumulative grade point average (GPA) is computed by dividing your total number of quality points by your total number of quality hours (total # of credits you have completed). The quality points for each course are obtained by multiplying the quality point value (see point values listed below) for each grade by the credits for that course: e.g., a grade of A in a three-credit course would earn 12 quality points (4 quality points x 3 credits).

Quality Point (QP) Values:

A = 4.00 QP C- = 1.67 QP
A- = 3.67 QP D+ = 1.33 QP
B+ = 3.33 QP D = 1.00 QP
B = 3.00 QP D- = 0.67 QP
B- = 2.67 QP F = 0.00 QP
C+ = 2.33 QP Z = 0.00 QP
C = 2.00 QP
