ENTRY- FURNITURE

As for furniture, the “Early Federal Style” was a return to straight line and generally smaller scale in design. The extension table and sideboard we as we know it today came into being in the last decade of the 18th century.

The rocking chair became popular during this time, as well as Windsor chairs. Small folding tables were utilized for such activites as playing cards and sewing.
