As a general recommendation for getting started, here are three sources of information.
- Free. Microsoft's own web site. For instance, the PowerPoint area of Microsoft's web site includes a trial version, tutorials, frequently asked questions, presentation templates, and suggestions for effective presentations. Over 250 free Microsoft Office templates and documents are available for a getting started with tasks such as developing proposals and keeping records.
- Under $10. The ReSource Network. For those who don't like to wade through pages of documentation, this is the essential guide to program features and controls.
- Under $20. Peachpit Press QuickStart Guides. These books present how-to information asa combination reference book and tutorial.

Students enrolled in the Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate program may use the reference and research facilities of the Morris Library on the University of Delaware's Newark campus. The Delaware State Law Library (11th and King Streets, Wilmington) and the law library of Widener University School of Law, Delaware Campus (4601 Concord Pike/Route 202, Wilmington) also are open to the public.
