The objects that you see on a computer screen consist of either text or graphics or some combination of the two. This module gets you started creating multimedia text and graphics.
Text is a key element of most multimedia applications, and a good working knowledge of how to enter, edit, and manipulate text is a basic requirement for anyone who wants to become multiliterate. Graphics provide the perfect complement to text by providing you with a way to express pictorially things that cannot be expressed in words.
This module consists of two units of instruction containing online activities that prepare you for creating a multimedia application. Follow the links below to study the unit of your choice:
Unit 6-1 | WYSIWYG Text Editing, teaches you how to enter, position, size, color, shadow, copy, and edit text. |
Unit 6-2 | Graphics, teaches you how to insert pictures and clip art, resize and reposition graphics, and draw freehand onscreen. |
