On-Campus Safety
University Police (UD PD)
The University of Delaware Police Department works to create an environment where people can feel safe to learn, work, live and visit and is committed to providing quality service and protection to the entire University community. You can visit their website to learn more about the department, how to report a crime, how to submit a tip, and much more. UD PD can be reached at 302-831-2222. Always call 911 in any emergency, whether on or off campus.
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
EHS works to provide a safe and healthful university community for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors. EHS is provides environmental monitoring services, facilitates research and lab safety programs, ensures general health and safety, manages waste, provides safety training, and responds to campus emergencies.Visit their website to learn more.
Secure UD Threat Alerts
Secure UD is the University's approach to computer and information security. Secure UD Threat Alerts provide information on IT related policies and threats. You can also use this site to report a phishing email.
Delaware Environmental Observing System (DEOS)
The DEOS is a component of the University of Delaware Center for Environmental Monitoring and Analysis in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment. The DEOS provides real-time environmental conditions (temperature, rainfall, windspeeds, etc.) for Delaware and surrounding regions.
Mental Health
Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCDS)

UD Helpline
The UD Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for any UD student feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or otherwise in need of someone to speak with.

Disaster Research Center( DRC)
The Disaster Research Center (DRC) is committed to advancing the state of the art in disaster research and its scientifically guided practice; educating the next generation of disaster science scholars and informed practitioners in the fields of disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery; and creating, gathering, and disseminating disaster knowledge in a dynamic and responsive way. Emergency Management Agencies
Emergency managers coordinate plans and resources to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against disasters. The following emergency management offices work alongside UD Emergency Management to reduce the vulnerability of the University to disasters.
