Textbooks:
For students taking both lab and lecture (Chem 333-010): Chem 331/333 LAB MANUAL

For students taking only the lecture (Chem 333-011): Organic Spectroscopic Structure Determination, author = Douglass Taber

Restated:

If you are in section Chem 333-010 (lab + lecture), then the required books are as follows:

• 331/333 LAB MANUAL (new or used OK)

• You do NOT need to purchase Organic Spectroscopic Structure Determination

If you are in Chem 333-011 (lecture only), then the required books are

as follows:

• Organic Spectroscopic Structure Determination (new or used OK)

  1. You do NOT need to purchase the 331/333 LAB MANUAL

Note- chapters 12-14 from the lab manual will be handed out in class, and are posted BCT Ch 11_14c.pdf

Clickers

Either generation of clickers (gen 1 or 2) will work for this class.

Grading and Exams

Grading for the lecture part of this course will be determined based on the average (50% each) of a midterm and final exam.
