The transcript-on and transcript-off procedures of mzscheme always raise exn:fail:unsupported. The mzlib/transcr library provides working versions of transcript-on and transcript-off.

(transcript-on filename) → any   filename : any/c

(transcript-off) → any

Starts/stops recording a transcript at filename.
