A Poster Session advertises your research. It combines text and graphics to make a visually-pleasing presentation. Scientists present their research to numerous researchers at conferences or seminars using posters. Typically, poster sessions are relatively informal. As viewers walk by, your poster should quickly and efficiently communicate your researh. Unlike the fast pace of a slide show or verbal presentation, a Poster Session allows viewers to study and restudy your information and discuss it with you one-on-one.

Each student will be required to stand by their poster and answer any questions your peers might have about how you addressed each phase of the project. Each group member will take turns representing your group at your poster. When not standing by your own poster, you will be checking out the other posters in the class. Everyone will be required to grade three other posters your classmates have completed.
