Results can be displayed on X terminals or saved as PostScript, encapsulated PostScript, and CGM files.  There are three major components of IMSL Exponent Graphics:  IMSL Exponent Graphics is licensed for all of the University's Sun, SGI, IBM RS/6000, DEC, and HP  UNIX systems.

Where to Find IMSL Exponent Graphics

Exponent Graphics is available on several central UNIX servers: Strauss (Sun / Solaris) and Gershwin (Silicon Graphics, Inc. / Irix). This document describes access on Strauss for the Sun Solaris f77 and C compilers.

The current implementation produces an error when you save the resulting graphics in a file format such as PostScript, CGM, or PICT.  Even though this error occurs, it will create the default file based on the format selected. Although you can compile your programs when working on any terminal, you must be on an X terminal or working in an xterm window to run the programs.

If your are interested in obtaining the source code for IMSL Exponent Graphics to be installed on a University-owned system, please see the University of Delaware
