Blue Hen Re-Coop Day Focuses on Community and Connection

The University of Delaware’s second Spring 2021 Blue Hen Re-Coop Day is being observed today with a focus on UD community and connection building. In addition to self-paced virtual opportunities, we will be on the North Green! Join us for an interactive and in-person event between the hours of 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Learn more.

We understand that not all employees may be able to participate in Re-Coop Day due to business needs, and we appreciate your commitment to keeping UD running for our students. We encourage you to find an alternate time to dedicate to yourself during this week.

New Employee Assistance Program

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is now being provided through ComPsych® GuidanceResources®. This is a free program available exclusively for State of Delaware Group Health Plan non-Medicare members and their dependents. Those not eligible to enroll in the Group Health Plan will have access until the COVID-19 pandemic has ended. EAP can help with a wide variety of work and life issues.

Benefits Open Enrollment: May 3-19

The 2021 flexible benefits open enrollment period begins May 3 and runs through May 19. During this time, benefit-eligible employees may review or change their benefits online, including adding or removing dependents, changing coverage for health, dental or vision insurance, or changing to a different level of disability and/or life insurance. This year we will be hosting Zoom information sessions and a virtual Benefits and Wellbeing Fair. Learn more.

Payroll Zoom Open Office Hours

The Payroll Department will be hosting several Zoom open office hours meetings to provide assistance with questions individuals may have related to recent payroll related activities. Employees may join at any time during the Zoom session, and members of the Payroll team will be available to answer questions. Online Social Justice Education

The Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity and Inclusion encourages all employees to review their online social justice education opportunity. Employees received a personalized email invitation from our online education partner, Everfi, on Tuesday, Feb. 23. This optional module provides an excellent foundation for future social justice conversations within your units and departments. Employees can find additional educational opportunities on the EDI education site.

Looking to create more healthy habits for your family in 2021? The Family ANEW Program will help your family get there. Led by a dedicated, trained health coach, this program can help you and your family collectively create improved habits around nutrition, exercise, time management and setting up a healthier home environment.
