Every morning: Wake Up. Class. Lab. Dinner. Homework. Sleep. Repeat. Are we living in a Bill Murray movie? Our whole lives have been spent sitting in class while teachers and professors tell us about how others have changed the world. Most of the time it's good enough. Sometimes, though, we want to escape the benign classroom and just have a conversation.

Enter GrassBranches. Unlike traditional grassroots efforts that leave members isolated, we help students and leaders branch out and connect with each other. We want you to meet with leaders who inspire you, be it through wind energy or word games, urban migration or underground music, hacker initiatives or haute couture. Because no more than five students meet with any one leader, the meetings we set up are personal and private. Afterwards, the GrassBranches community will help you plan a follow-up event to share your meeting with the world however you want.

GrassBranches is more than just a support structure that allows you to meet leaders: it's a launching pad that allows you to become a leader yourself.
