FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Body Tone: A challenging class that uses weights, bands, body bars, and more to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups. A fantastic full-body workout.

Butts & Guts: Strengthen, tone, and condition your "backside", legs and core! This class targets the gluteal muscles, hamstrings, quadriceps and inner and outer thighs. This class also uses safe abdominal and lower back exercises to improve alignment, posture, tone, and looks for your core.

Cardio Muscle: This intense cardio and strength-training workout will get your blood pumping using steps, hand weights, physioballs, and more. A must for any fitness program!

Hard Bodies: You guessed it! An intensive calisthenics and weighted workout designed to sculpt your body and improve your strength and endurance. A great way to learn new tricks for use in the general fitness areas.

Kickboxing/Kobu: An intense aerobic workout for all fitness levels that incorporates boxing, kickboxing, and martial art skills/drills performed to music. This class develops cardiovascular fitness, agility, strength, and power. Sure to be a knockout!!

Pilates: This class is based on the principles of core strength and stabilization as created by Joseph Pilates. This exercise system focuses on improving flexibility and strength for the total body through controlled movement engaging your body and mind, promoting physical harmony, and balance for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Power Pilates: An advanced workout taking basic Pilates to the next level. Not created for beginners.

Step: A long-time favorite, this class is great for any fitness level. This low-impact cardio workout offers many high-intensity options, and finishes off the hour with toning exercises: a fantastic full-body workout.

UD Spin: A great option for anyone looking to cross-train! This group workout takes indoor cycling to the next level, with hill climbs, interval races, and much more-all set to music to keep that motivation high. You choose your own resistance level so all age groups and fitness levels are easily accommodated. Give it a SPIN!

Weight Training for Women: This course will introduce the basic concepts of weight training for individuals with limited experience. This class is progressive so individuals who are already versed in resistance training can still count on a good workout! Appropriate for all fitness levels. *THIS CLASS REQUIRES SPECIFIC REGISTRATION IN PERSON PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS, NOT INCLUDED WITH THE GENERAL FITNESS PASSES.

Yoga: Improve your overall strength and flexibility while also learning relaxation and breathing techniques to reduce stress. Great for all fitness levels, no experience necessary.

Yogilates: This class fuses the strengthening, stretching, and balancing aspects of Yoga and Pilates. Expect a challenge as we flow through postures that will tone your body and focus your mind.
