Via I-95 (from north or south)

Take I-95 to Exit 1B (Newark-University of Delaware), which is Route 896 North. Follow Route 896 North into Newark. Route 896 North becomes South College Avenue. Follow South College Avenue to the “T” (end of S. College). Turn left onto Main Street and stay in right lane. Go about one block and at the fork in the road, bear right over the railroad tracks following signs for Route 896 North. Proceed straight through the traffic light at Cleveland Avenue and go down the hill. As you begin up the next hill, you will see an electronic sign and a sign for the University of Delaware—Laird Campus. Turn right after the sign. Clayton Hall is on the right. The parking lot is on the left (across from Clayton Hall).

From Southern Delaware

Follow Route 13 North to the Route 1 Bypass. Follow Route 1 North and exit at Route 896. Follow Route 896 North for a few miles, go over the railroad tracks and make a right at the traffic light following signs for Route 896 North. Follow for several miles, crossing over Route 40 and I-95. Follow Route 896 North into Newark. Route 896 North becomes South College Avenue. Follow South College Avenue to the “T” (end of S. College). Turn left onto Main Street and stay in right lane. Go about one block and at the fork in the road, bear right over the railroad tracks following signs for Route 896 North. Proceed straight through the traffic light at Cleveland Avenue and go down the hill. As you begin up the next hill, you will see an electronic sign and a sign for the University of Delaware—Laird Campus. Turn right after the sign. Clayton Hall is on the right. The parking lot is on the left (across from Clayton Hall).

Parking

Free parking for conference participants is provided in lots adjacent to John M. Clayton Hall. All registered conference participants will receive a conference parking pass with their confirmation materials. Please park only in the lots designated for John M. Clayton Hall conference participants. Do not park in the Marriott Courtyard parking lot (next door to Clayton Hall) unless you are a hotel guest. Otherwise, your car may be towed. This parking lot is strictly for hotel guests.

*Please note that the “100 Pencader Way” address is used strictly for Mapquest directions.
