Grabbing Video and Stills with
Apple Video Player
Turn on and insert your Videotape into the VCR.
Under the
Apple
menu -->, open
Apple Video Player
Hit play on the VCR. If nothing appears in the video player window, ask a site assistant for help.
Under the
Windows
menu -->, open the
Show Controls
Window
This Window allows you to control Video capture.
To grab
stills
-->, press the
Freeze
button.
To grab
video
-->, press the
Record
button.
Both stills and video can be saved by pressing the
Save button
.
Video Player saves still to a TIFF or PICT file formatand moving images as QuickTime files.
