  • Registration and Payment

Your work place may be qualified to become an official UD Online work site. Students at participating work sites pay the work-site tuition rate.

    Videotapes

Tapes (1/2 VHS) are sent to the work site and are on loan for the semester. One set of course videotapes may be shared by up to three students per course. Students who do not wish to share the videotapes may register as individuals and pay appropriate resident or nonresident tuition plus the $90 handling fee.

Extensions on course work do not apply to the videotapes themselves, which must be returned on schedule.

    CD-ROM

CD-ROM are sent to the work site and are on loan for the semester. One CD-ROM per student is sent to the site coordinator for distribution.

Extensions on course work do not apply to the CD-ROM themselves, which must be returned on schedule.

    Course Materials

Following registration, students receive by mail information about textbooks, exams, and assignment deadlines. The UD Online office will send Book Order Forms and/or course syllabi to registered students. (Some courses require students to purchase a study guide, syllabus, or readings packet in addition to textbooks.) Students may order books by phone, fax, Internet, or in person at the University of Delaware Bookstore on Academy Street in Newark.

    Exams

Exams are sent to the work-site coordinator. Students make scheduling arrangements directly with the site coordinator according to the exam deadlines for each course. All exams (except take-home exams) are proctored at the work site by the coordinator.
