StartUp Nation Technology Fair to visit Trabant University Center
11 a.m., Feb. 10, 2016--The StartUp Nation Technology Fair is coming to the University of Delaware, one of just 15 college campus stops this year, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 22, in Multipurpose Rooms A and B of the Trabant University Center.
Part trade expo and part internship fair, the StartUp Nation Technology Fair provides a unique opportunity to meet entrepreneurs and innovators, test out products, services and technology, and learn about internship opportunities with start-ups and early stage companies.

June 6-9: Food and culture series
The fair will include an exposition floor with early stage tech start-ups, a career fair for students who are interested in finding internships, and professional sessions with successful entrepreneurs.
Stewart Shapiro, chair of UD’s Department of Business Administration, will present opening remarks at 11:15 a.m.
A panel discussion from 11:30 a.m. to noon, moderated by Dan Freeman, director of the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, will allow entrepreneurs to share their experiences and talk to students about what it takes to launch and run a tech company.
An exposition will be held from noon to 2 p.m., with about a dozen early stage Israeli companies exhibiting their technologies, products and services.
The event will be an opportunity-filled day featuring cutting-edge technology companies and innovative start-ups, many whom are offering internships and job opportunities.
Companies expected to attend include GradTrain, Diggidi, Zeekit, Vikki, RefreshBox, EZface, Onward Israel and Silo.
The StartUp Nation Technology Fair is being hosted by UD Hillel, the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, the Career Services Center, the Honors Program, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Jewish Studies Program, Hillel Student Life, the Bioinformatics Student Association, Hillel International, Hinenu, the Entrepreneurship Club, Blue Hens for Israel and Israel U.
The first 50 people who attend will receive a Bluetooth speaker.
