Sept. 10: National Agenda opens
Satirist Lesser to discuss 'Making Fun of Politics' in National Agenda opener
7:53 a.m., Sept. 2, 2014--Frank Lesser, an Emmy Award-winning writer for Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, will open the University of Delaware’s National Agenda speaker series with a presentation titled “Making Fun of Politics” at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Mitchell Hall.
The popular show is noted for lampooning American politics, and Lesser collaborated with host Stephen Colbert and other writers to create a satirical -- but real -- political action committee during the 2012 campaign.
