Kronum Club announces interest meeting on fast-paced new sport
8:26 a.m., May 15, 2015--The Kronum Club at the University of Delaware has announced an interest meeting at which students can learn about the fast-paced new sport, which incorporate elements of soccer, basketball and handball.
The interest meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m., Monday, May 18 in the Perkins Student Center Alumni Lounge.

Davis H. Pfund, an entrepreneurship and technology innovation major in the Class of 2018 and founder and president of the UD Kronum Club, said he learned about the sport from a previous co-worker who founded the nation’s first collegiate team at Towson University.
UD will field the sixth collegiate team in the nation, and Pfund said plans are to play competitively and participate in tournaments.
He said tournaments will be held both by the official Kronum League and also individually arranged by presidents of college teams along the East Coast.
