Newark to hold annual Fourth of July fireworks at UD's athletic complex
8:40 a.m., June 29, 2015--The city of Newark will hold its annual Fourth of July fireworks from 6-9:30 p.m., Saturday, July 4, at the University of Delaware’s David M. Nelson Athletic Complex off South College Avenue.
Free parking is available in the University lots.

June 6-9: Food and culture series
There will be fine activities, crafts, community information and food. Live musical entertainment will begin at 6 with the Juveniles, followed at 7:30 by Club Phred.
Those who plan to attend are asked to leave pets at home, as the fireworks tend to scare them.
The rain date is Sunday, July 5, with fireworks only.
