University Student Centers, OISS offer bus trips to New York, Washington

8:48 a.m., Feb. 3, 2015--The University Student Centers and the Office of International Students and Scholars have teamed up to offer two spring bus trips at a discounted rate for both undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Delaware.

The first trip will be an open itinerary trip to New York City on Saturday, March 7, and the second will be an open itinerary trip to Washington, D.C., with optional excursions to visit museums and the cherry blossom trees on Saturday, April 18.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can reserve seats on either trip for $35; both trips depart from Trabant University Center at 9 a.m., and tickets for all USC bus trips can be purchased online at this website.
