Richards to lead conversation on 'Goya's War: Los Desastres de Guerra'
1:32 p.m., Oct. 15, 2013--Troy Richards, associate professor of art at the University of Delaware, will discuss the exhibition “Goya’s War: Los Desastres de la Guerra” from 12:30-1:15 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the Old College Gallery.
The talk is part of the “Perspectives” series offered by University Museums.

“Goya’s War: Los Desastres de la Guerra,” curated by Janis A. Tomlinson, director of University Museums, is an extended meditation on the tragedy of war in its many aspects created by Francisco Goya y Lucientes. The 80 etchings depict scenes of war, famine, and political commentary.
The exhibition is a collaboration of UD’s University Museums and the Pomona College Museum of Art. It is circulated by the Pomona College Museum of Art.
