Oct. 16: E-Club photo shoot
Professional photo shoot for students offered by Entrepreneurship Club
5:42 p.m., Oct. 15, 2013--The Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club) will host as its first venture a professional picture photo shoot to give University of Delaware students the opportunity to obtain a quality photo for use on professional social networks on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The event, which is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the Alfred Lerner Hall Atrium.
Events Stories
June 5: Blue Hen 5K
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The photo session is free for E-Club members and $5 for non-members. Each participant will be sent one digital retouched image. Students are advised to dress in appropriate attire.
According to students in E-Club, they recognize the importance of having a polished and unique profile in the competitive job market; they also plan to use revenue from the event wisely.
“We took a poll on our group page and the general consensus seems to be we will use most or all of the revenue to reinvest in future ventures,” said Sean Carey, an E-Club executive board member, who noted the club’s goal of having a continuous revenue steam available for reinvestments in other pursuits. “But we always pass around ideas of donating to charity (such as trying to donate leftover Free Lunch Friday food to homeless shelters), so whatever money we don't reinvest in new micro-ventures for our entrepreneurs, we most likely would use for philanthropic causes.”
