May 8: 'Death with dignity'
Forum on 'death with dignity' issues to be held at Trabant Theatre
7:55 a.m., April 30, 2014--A public forum on “death with dignity” issues in the state will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8, in the Trabant University Center Theatre on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The forum will feature panelists John Goodill, M.D., Mary McCrossan, M.D., and Richard Hanley, associate professor of philosophy at UD.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
The panel will be moderated by Fred Schueler, professor of philosophy.
The forum is sponsored by State Rep. Paul Baumbach and UD’s Department of Philosophy. It is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
