Holocaust survivor Ann Jaffe to address UD students
2:07 p.m., Sept. 25, 2012--Holocaust survivor Ann Jaffe will share her story during a session at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, in 219 Smith Hall on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The presentation will be held in conjunction with an English and Jewish Studies course “Holocaust: Literature, Memoir, Media and Film” taught by Diane Isaacs, supplemental faculty in the Jewish Studies Program.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Jaffe has spoken at many schools throughout the state and is noted for her ability to convey, through her life story, the power of good over evil. She survived the Nazi terror by hiding in a forest.
