A dynamic blues trio from Newark, Lower Case Blues was named Delaware Today’s Best Band of 2009 and was a featured local group at this year’s inaugural Firefly Music Festival in Dover.
Lower Case Blues first teamed up with WVUD for Radiothon 2011, playing an hour-long set in Trabant University Center for a crowd of students, UD faculty and staff, and members of the community.
The self-described “power trio” has opened for Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and .38 Special, among many others over the years. Lower Case Blues prides itself on an eclectic mixture of improvisational original music and tributes to their inspirations.
The show will be held upstairs at World Cafe Live at the Queen, 500 N. Market St., Wilmington.
