Health sciences alliance to sponsor community engagement conference
4:46 p.m., Oct. 31, 2012--The Delaware Health Sciences Alliance (DHSA) will hold a one-day conference on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Ammon Center on the Christiana Care campus in Newark, Del.
The event will focus on creating health partnerships by engaging individuals, providers, and communities in health decisions.

Guest speakers will include:
- Margaret Moore, co-director, Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital (an affiliate of Harvard Medical School Institute of Coaching);
- Karen Sepucha, senior scientist, Health Decision Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital; and
- Sandra Hassink, Division of General Pediatrics/Primary Care, Department of Pediatrics, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, and chair, Governor’s Council on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
The agenda also includes panel discussions and networking opportunities.
