“One of the most important things we focus on is advancing music in the local community,” said Jason Lombardo, president of the chapter. “With this recital, we get to tell the story of these wars through song.”
Brothers will perform individual and group acts in both instrumental and vocal capacities. A highlight will include a performance of an alumni arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner by the entire chapter.
“I think it will be interesting for the audience to hear music from these wars, especially the more recent ones,” said Ryan Parks, musical activities chair of the chapter. “Instead of focusing on the facts or political aspects of these wars, we want to focus on how the music impacted soldiers, leaders and citizens.”
