Nov. 10: Law enforcement job fair

Law enforcement job, information fair set at Perkins Student Center

9:58 a.m., Nov. 5, 2012--The second annual University of Delaware Law Enforcement Job and Information Fair will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Perkins Student Center.

The event is free and open to the public, and will provide information about state, local and federal law enforcement career opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Representatives of the UD Police will be on hand.

Other law enforcement agencies that will be represented include Philadelphia Police, Newark Police, Dover Police, New Castle County Police, Maryland State Police, Baltimore City Police, Baltimore County Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The Perkins Student Center is at 325 Academy Street in Newark. Parking for event attendees will be available in UD Lot 31, at the corner of Academy and Courtney streets.
