University Chorale, Singers to perform concert at Loudis Recital Hall

9:15 a.m., Nov. 2, 2012--The University of Delaware Chorale and the University Singers will perform at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

Call the Center for the Arts Box Office at 302-831-2204 to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for senior adults  and $3 for students. At-the-door tickets, if available, are by cash or check only

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

The acclaimed University Chorale performed in Europe this summer, advancing to the “grand prix” round of competition and brining home a silver medal in the Béla Bartók International Choir Competition in Hungary.

The University Singers is an advanced ensemble of women’s voices for music majors and other UD treble voices with significant musical background.
