Hotel announces special holiday menus

1:01 p.m., Nov. 19, 2012--The Courtyard Newark at the University of Delaware will be featuring an “International Holiday Buffet” for special holiday events in its Center for Hospitality and Tourism from Nov. 20-Jan. 15.

Created by chef Mark Chopko, the menu features more than 15 items, including a tempting selection of desserts.

Events, ideal for holiday parties, will be held in a private dining room, and cash or open bar service will be available. 

Pricing for the lunch buffet is $25 per person, plus 20 percent service charge, and dinner is $35 per person, plus the 20 percent service charge. 

Early reservations are recommended. 

Menu items include roast beef in rosemary demiglaze, roasted pork shank and sauerkraut, chicken saltimbocca with prosciutto, sage and mozzarella, mahi mahi with grilled mango and papaya chutney, and Big Island duck and pineapple stir fry.
