Dates, speakers announced for spring School of Nursing lecture series
11:17 a.m., Feb. 22, 2013--The School of Nursing at the University of Delaware has announced dates and speakers for its spring lecture series. All lectures will take place on Wednesdays from 9-10 a.m. in 114 McDowell Hall.
The lecture series consists of three events:

June 5: Blue Hen 5K
University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
- March 6 “A Meta-Analysis of the Association Between Two Cardiac Risk Factors,” Ju Young Shin, assistant professor, School of Nursing.
- April 3 “The Role of Habitual Intake of Sodium and Potassium on Vascular Function,” Shannon Lennon-Edwards, assistant professor, Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition.
- April 24 “Reproductive Health at School-Based Health Centers: Stakeholder Perceptions,” Judith Herrman, associate professor, School of Nursing.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
