Electrical and Computer Engineering announces spring lecture series

2:04 p.m., Feb. 28, 2013--The University of Delaware’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has announced invited speakers for its spring lecture series. 

Lectures will take place Wednesdays, March 6 and April 24, at 3:30 p.m. in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts. A reception will immediately follow the presentations in the lobby.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

March 6: Fred Kitson, executive vice president, DTS, Inc., “The Technology in a Good Experience Should be Heard and Not Seen.”

April 24: Tom Koch, dean of the College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona, “Photonic Integrated circuits: Past, Present and Future.”
