Feb. 26: Brandywine Baroque
Early music ensemble to perform at UD's Gore Recital Hall
10:17 a.m., Feb. 20, 2013--Brandywine Baroque, Delaware's premier early music ensemble, will perform at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.
The ensemble will present a program of music written to dazzle the “Sun King,” Louis XIV of France, who established the glittering court at Versailles.

The ensemble, including UD faculty members Eileen Grycky and Karen Flint, will be joined by the UD's Collegium Musicum in performing works by François Couperin, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, Jean-Marie Leclair, Jacques Morel and Marin Marais.
Tickets cost $12 adults, $8 for senior adults and $3 students. Advance tickets are available by calling the Roselle Center for the Arts Box Office at 302-831-2204. At-the-door tickets, if available, are cash or check only.
