Active Minds to host Pershall talk on 'The Truth About Eating Disorders'
11:13 a.m., Feb. 20, 2013--Active Minds at the University of Delaware will host a presentation by Stacy Pershall on “The Truth About Eating Disorders” at 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.
Pershall, a renowned member of the Active Minds Mental Health Speaker's Bureau and author of Loud in the House of Myself: Memoir of a Strange Girl, will discuss her experiences with anorexia, bulimia, bullying and the overlap with mental health.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
Admission is free.
The event counts towards the Chapter Assessment Program (CAP) for Greek chapters.
